Cloud 9 May Blog Hop

This is my first time joining the Cloud 9 blog hop, but after seeing the inspiration photo, I knew I wanted to give it a try!

I love the colors on this card.  It is not a shape I have done before and I didn't think I liked making non-A2 cards but I think I might have to try another one like this it was a lot of fun to think about!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the other lovely entries!

Celebrate the Season Christmas Tag

I was checking out the Tim Holtz blog about a month ago and he had a link to Tammy Tutterow's post with a really cool technique with De-bossing and Crackle paint.  I will be using this technique again for sure!

Papertrey August Blog Hop

I used my sewing machine!

Here is another card with the MME Lost&Found paper that I am in love with. This card is for my mom as she helped me set up my sewing machine a few weeks ago. I bought the machine the day after Thanksgiving and it sat in the box until then. I have never used a sewing machine before. After getting it set up I was too intimidated to use it. I finally said to myself JUST DO IT!. So I did and this is the result. Not perfect but I like the added detail so I will keep practicing until I get better at it.
I will NOT be sewing anything other paper anytime soon, if ever!   :)
