Follow Friday 10/21

Edited: I am blaming being really sick for the last few days on linking up the wrong post... Sorry for any confusion.

This week’s statements:

1. I am afraid of spiders.  Even on TV.  I don't like to see them or think about them, no matter the size.  I have nightmares about them and have almost pushed my husband out of the way to get out of the bed running, in my sleep, from the spiders...
2. My craft room is my favorite room of my house.  I am surrounded by all the things I love and all the possibilities that can be dreamed of.
3. The last time I was in Scottsdale, I couldn’t believe how fast the time went.
4. I got my first earrings when I was 13, my grandparents wanted me to wait until I was 16, but my parents let me do it anyway!

Here are this week's questions!  

1. Do you sleep with the window open or the fan on no matter

what the weather is like?

Neither, my used to sleep with the window cracked year round but I broke him of that habit! 

2. What is your favorite comfort food?

 Homemade Mac and Cheese!

3. Do you ever go to a chiropractor? 

 I used to go all the time but my insurance stopped covering it so I don't go much if at all anymore...

4.What is your most memorable Halloween costume growing up?

 I don't remember any of my costumes but my mom dressed up as a pile of leaves one year.  We took a black garbage bag and stapled dry leaves to it!  She looked really cool!

5.Do you prefer the sunrise or the sunset?

I like them both but I am usually only awake for sunsets!

Happy Fall Wreaths

This was a fun project to work on. I will definitely be making more of these crinoline flowers for future projects!  I am out of wreaths now so until the Dollar Tree gets more in I won't be making any for awhile.  I did find cones there so...maybe I will make something with those!

Can you be busy doing nothing?

Five Question Friday 10/14/11

 

This week’s questions:

1. Do you prefer your ice cream in a bowl or in a cone?
At home in a bowl and when out on a cone...

2. What three things do you love the smell of?
A real wood fire, fresh coffee and baking bread!

3. Gift cards or no? (In regards to gift giving...)
I am a big believer in gift cards.  It takes the stress off of you the giver and the gives the fun to the receiver as they can pick what THEY want and think of you while doing it.  (Rather than taking something back they didn't like...)

4. What sports did you play in high school if any and do you still play them?
I was on the swim-team, I wasn't very good but it was fun.  I still swim but ONLY for fun!

5. Were you in band in high school? What instrument did you play?

 Ahh band, those were great times!  I played the clarinet, I don't play anymore but I still have my clarinet.

3. In the morning, I think today is the day I give up lattes.  I say it every morning...

This week’s questions:

1. What is your go to comfort food or sweet? 

Homemade mac and cheese.

2. What is the most romantic place you've ever been to? 

The beaches of Maui!

3. What is your favorite thing about fall/Halloween? 

I love the bright sunny days and cool nights.  I love the beautiful color of the leaves.

4. How would you spend 24 hours alone? 

 Listening to music, surfing the net and crafting! 

I am ready to do that now! Anyone want to take my 23yo son and husband off my hands for 24 (or more ;)) hours?

5. Does you husband bring you flowers? Are you the bring-me-flowers type of girl? 

He had flowers waiting for me when I came home from my last trip.  

I am not a big bring me flowers girl but every once in a while it is nice.

Hoo Are You #57

Here are this week's questions!  

1. Do you sleep with the tv or music on?

Not since having a baby (22yrs ago), I hear every little noise.  Before that I couldn't go to sleep without music.

 

 2. What is your favorite technology device that you own?

iPhone! 

 

3. Do you shop the ads for groceries?

I used to be an avid ad/coupon shopper.  I would meal plan by what was on sale, but now the husband does all the shopping and cooking so I don't look at ads anymore at all!  Except the day after Thanksgiving! :)

4. What are you favorite pair of shoes?

I have two, one is a five year old Born loafer I wear in the Fall (A LOT), similar to this one:

  

 

and a Donald J Pliner sandal that saved my life one year in Vegas that I wear in the Summer.  

5. Have you done any fun fall activities yet?

Helped buy and decorate fall decor with my mom.
