Felt Poms!

I saw these cute poms here and I just had to make them!
I am not sure they will end up.  I really like the look of them hanging but DH isn't fond of that idea...
I used about a yard and half of pink felt and about 3 quarters of a yard of white.  I don't know and I don't want to know how many circles I cut out!  I know between this project and these wreaths I have used almost 600 pins!  I used my cuttlebug and the circle spellbinders die to cut all the circles.  It is kind of mindless once you get going.  I was watching Jeff Dunham on Comedy Central, it is the first time I had seen anything by him and he is HILARIOUS!

Can you feel the love?

A few weeks ago I came across this website which led to this!  And so the hunt began for foam wreaths, felt etc.

I liked it so much I made two!  Then I just had to have something between them and of course I had to have something from Papertrey  Ink which led to this homage to Valentines Day!

Each of those wreaths have over 300, 3" circles.  I used my spellbinder circle dies and ran it through my cuttlebug.  I read that some people cut each one out by hand.  My hats off to those people, I think I did about three before I decided mine were not going to be done that way!  Can you say carpel tunnel!  :)  The paper in the banner is just stuff I had in my stash. The letters were cut out on the Cricut and the banner and circles were from Papertrey dies.  On the mantel you can see a piece of scroll-work my DH made.  He is pretty crafty too!  It says "Faith Family and Friends" and isn't that what it is all about in the end?  I think so.

Day 314 - Imagine This: Romance Challenge Card 2

This card totally make me think of Romance!  Everything cut out with the Cricut.  Yellow flowers are card stock with a vellum flower on top.

I am a maker of cards, not a sender...

I found this card while looking for something else.  I really like this card.  I think the design came from one on the cuddlebug website or possibly the blog and this is my version of that design.
White Cardstock; Cuddlebug embossing folder; Martha Steward Butterfly Punch; Sheer Ribbon.  OM!  I just realized I have nothing from Papertrey on this card!  That is a first!  :)
