Five Question Friday 3/30/12

This week’s questions & My Answers:

1. What giveaway would you like to do on your blog?

Money!

2. If you had to choose between natural artistic ability and natural athletic ability, which would it be?

Honestly, I would be happy with either one.

3. Do you ditch the coat the minute it becomes "spring" or are you a holdout for more cool temps?

I live in the Pacific Northwest, Spring starts around
Memorial Day and Summer starts July 5th.  I always have a jacket with me!

4. What would you do if you won the mega millions lotto of 1/2 billion dollars?

I would take care of my immediate family, pay for college for my son.

Possibly start up a business that helps people get/find the help that they need.  I had a friend that needed help recently and it was difficult for me to get information on how/where to go to get help.  I got a lot of run around and I would like to find an easier way for people in need to get that information as quickly as possible.

I would also take a vacation.  A nice long one!

5. You are at a hotel by yourself...what do you do?

Read a book or watch TV.  I have no problem being by myself, I would not be bored.

Six Word Saturday 3/17/12

The sun will come out tomorrow...

Here in the Pacific Northwest we are being treated to temps and weather we usually see in December.  I am so ready for some sunshine and warmer weather.  Maybe I will just have to drink some green beer and pretend it is Cinco de Mayo already!
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend wherever you are!

Five Question Friday 3/16/12

This week’s questions:

1. Will you run to the store or to pick up a kid looking a mess?

2. Do you finish a book if it's boring or you don't like it?

3. Beach or mountain vacations?

4. What thing/event says "winter will end and spring is right around the corner" to you?

5. Would you prefer couples or family vacation?

My Answers:

1. Will you run to the store or to pick up a kid looking a mess?
Yes but I will not look anyone else in the eye.  If I don't see them they don't see me!
2. Do you finish a book if it's boring or you don't like it?
Not unless it is the only book I have left to read.  Even then I will probably fall asleep reading it.
3. Beach or mountain vacations?
Beach.  Beach.  Did I say Beach?  Any of them on Maui preferably!
4. What thing/event says "winter will end and spring is right around the corner" to you?
The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.  I have never been but when I see the commercials I know that soon the sun will be shining and the rain will go away.  (cough, cough...)

5. Would you prefer couples or family vacation?
Done both and either is fine with me.

Card Challange!

This is the first card I have finished in months!  I like the soft colors.  The layout is sketch #155 over at CardPatterns.  The other is a color challenge over at 365 Cards.  When I saw that the color was pink, that was it for me, I had to give it go!

Thanks for looking!
