 Ten hours on the road today.

Driving to Eugene to see my grandparents and a few other relatives.  I took this trip in September and finally recovered just in time to do it again...

The new blog is coming together!

I have been working and reading and trying out code and changing themes and looking at pictures and reading some more...sigh.  Now I know why I switched to blogger way back in 2009, it is much easier to use and make changes. 

I want to make a living though this new blog so it might as well be work right from the beginning!

I haven't crafted in a month!

After crafting everyday for a month I was burnt out...  Now I don't have anything made for Christmas, cards, gifts etc.  I need to get my rear in gear!

Time flies when you get older!

I didn't believe that saying when I was younger but it really is true!

I am thankful that this year has gone by relatively quickly although things that need to be settled are still not settled.  This year has been a little better than the last three years and I am hoping that next year will be even better!

p.s. I finally got my www.theheartdesires.com to show up after issues with Firefox.  It has a temp theme up on it now as I am transferring posts over.  It did not transfer pics so it just has the default pics up right now.  I will be purchasing a custom or semi custom theme and hope to have it up and running by mid December.

 I just needed a hosting site
Both of those are ready now
But the site won't show up!

Can you ever finish when organizing?

Seems like I as soon as I think I am finished something else pops up and then when that is done the first one needs to be updated...  I see why we have stores just for containers!

Six Word Saturday 9/28/13

 One third, two seconds, two firsts!

On Tuesday, my 46th birthday, I picked up the cards I entered into our local fair.  I entered seven cards all in different categories and won ribbons on five of them!  Yay!  Happy Birthday to me!  :)

These two didn't place, but I think they are still special!

We have a really great fair, I believe it is like the 10th largest in the world!  If you get the chance to visit our great state during it's 18 day run you must go to the fair!

Really thought I would feel different...

This past week marked my 25th anniversary and I somehow thought that I would feel, I don't know older, more together etc.  I guess I will wait and see if it hits me on my birthday in a few weeks when I will officially be in my late 40's...

Six Word Saturday 8/31/13

 It's my favorite time of year!

For me this means the time of year that goes by the fastest. Summer is almost over, football season is here. Shorter, cooler days, beautiful fall colors. In a couple more weeks it will be time to bring the long sleeves and long pants out. I don't have a little one anymore so I don't do much decorating for Halloween but I do like to change the decor up a bit for fall then all of the Christmas decor comes out the weekend after Thanksgiving (US). Fall is my favorite time of the year!
