Stamp-a-faire 2013: Custom Accents from the Oven

Hey I one out of three ain't bad! Okay, I think you can call this a project fail...  I haven't played shrink plastic in years.  While this application (heat gun) didn't work I will definitely be making some bits and bob's for my Christmas cards to go along with that paperclay! I really like the candy cane and I will probably do some of the round candy too!

*Edited to add a tag I made with the lone candy cane that made it through the heating process.

Thanks for stopping by!

Ellen Hutson's 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist

It was love at first sight with Jennifer's tag!  I ran right out and purchased the mirror and I had everything else on hand.  One thing though, have you ever tried to take a picture of a mirror and not be in the picture?  Try it.  It is not that easy.  :)

In real life it is very shiny and pretty!

Year of Flowers Cards

Lisa Johnson made these lovely cards and I had to give them a try.  The stamp set is Year of Flower from Papertrey Ink.

All supplies PTI except flowers colored with copics.

These were fun to make and go together pretty quickly, once the coloring is done.  I could see making more of these to give as gift sets.

Thank you for stopping by!

p.s. Funny thing, while I was adding the pictures I had to add them one by one and thought I kept counting wrong as it turns out, one picture was missing.  Then I found the pic and was still short one card, that is when I realized I only made eleven cards in stead of the twelve I thought I made...  After thinking I was going crazy for awhile, I decided I was already crazy!  :)

p.p.s.  haha!  I just counted again and I am still short some pictures!  Maybe I need to go back to grade school and learn to count again...

Birthday Card for Mom

I have been wanting to color this image since the first time I saw it!  I used Nichole's photo for inspiration.

Thanks for stopping looking!

Copic Spring Flower Cards

I was cruising Debbie Olsen's blog last week and came across this post that I just had to try.  I am trying to practice more with my Copics so that I can qualify to take the intermediate certification course later this year. Here are a couple of my attempts.
