Happiest Card
This is a case from this card I found on pinterest. I started this card for the PTI blog hop but didn't get it finished in time. Unfortunately you can't see it in the picture, but I spritzed the whole thing with Frost Shimmer Mist which gives it just a lite touch of glimmer. I really love this stamp set. The flowers always turn out so pretty.
All supplies from PTI
Kraft CS; Sweet Life stamps and dies; Delightful Doilies stamp; Kraft, Lemon Tart, Harvest Gold and Summer Sunrise ink, Harvest Gold Ribbon.

OLW141-One Layer Wednesday
OLW Challenge (One Layer Wednesdays). This weeks the challenge is: Repeat After Me by creating a repeating background using the same stamp.
I used the long banner stamp from Papertrey's Sketched Shapes, in memento's Angel Pink, for the background and a stamp from Stylish Sentiments: Birthday, in Hibiscus Burst, for the sentiment.
This was a fun challenge to try! You can check out this challenge and the other lovely entries here!

Five Question Friday 5/24/13
This week’s questions & My Answers:
1. Do you wake before the alarm or stay in bed until the last possible second?
I usually wake before the alarm and then lay there until the last possible nano second!
2. Who should get a baby shower? Is it just the first baby or all babies?
I think all babies should have a shower! They are all special!
3. How will you spend Memorial Day?
It is supposed to rain most of the weekend so I will probably be playing in my craft room! (Don't be a hater!) :)
4. Do you have a Storm/Hurricane/Tornado/Fire plan for your kids, house..?
I have a couple of escape ladders in a closet somewhere... Not good I know. Maybe the hubs and I can work on that this weekend. Put together an emergency kit and put the ladders where they are needed. Thanks for the little push!

Chat on the Farmhouse Porch #94
Pull up a chair and grab a cup of teas and lets have a chat!
1.Are you a heavy sleeper, light
sleeper, or somewhere in between?
I used to be a heavy sleeper until I had my son and then I became a light sleeper. I had to actually move his crib three rooms away because I would wake up with every noise he made!

2.Are you currently reading anything
interesting?
I have two books on my nightstand waiting for me to read. Killing Lincoln and Killing Kennedy both by Bill O’Reilly.

Six Word Saturday 5/18/13
I dislike banks, all of them.
I'm at the beach this weekend and then again next weekend having the place appraised for the bank. Ugh! It wouldn't be so bad if the weather were supposed to be better and of course it gets better the day we leave... I hope to get some good pictures though in between showers. If I get any good ones I will share them next week.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

MIM #115
This weeks Make It Monday challenge was to use Impression plates on something other than paper. In Heather's example she used foil tape and I loved the look, so I ran out and got some!
I like some things about this card but overall not so much... It's hard to see the impressions on the hammer and handles of the screwdrivers but they are there... I think I will try this again but I will do it on larger pieces for a background.
Thank you for stopping by!

Happy May Day!
I don't remember when it started but for as long as I can remember I have given my mom flowers on May Day. This year will be no different. I started making these flowers a last month but never finished them. (Can you tell I am a procrastinator? Nah.) This all started while I was browsing Pinterest and seeing tons of beautiful paper flowers and was amazed that they were being made from coffee filters. So I found a tutorial I liked and started making them. Then stopped. Then started again. Then stopped... You get the picture. I did finally get them done!
I think theses are so pretty gathered together! There are five flowers here.
I stamped a tag and tied it to the bouquet.
I thought I would give her a little something that she can carry with her wherever she goes, to know that she is loved!
The heart is a pocket token from Lisa Leonard Designs. This is my third order in a little over a month! All of her items are handcrafted and simply stunning!
Thank you for stopping by and wishing you a wonderful May Day!
